October 1st was Open Day at school where parents had the opportunity to sit in on classes for the day to see their children and kinda sorta observe the teachers. Intimidating much?! because we would be having a week off, the school also celebrated Teacher Appreciation Day on the 1st so it was a busy day. We had an assembly in the morning where the girls closed with a wonderful song they’ve been practicing for a while so classes were delayed a little and there were lots of flowers and food going around lol but alhamdulilah all went well!
A few days before Open Day, I had the girls make skeletons from Q-tips as a closing activity before we moved onto the next unit which turned out quite well! We hung them up in class so the parents could see as well and the girls were so excited and proud of their work! yay! We also added more to our bulletin board; going along with the Frozen theme we welcomed parents with a ‘Storm of Kindness in 2 Pink’! get it?!
I also remembered to take pictures of our class so voila! not the greatest quality so apologies x
p.s how cool is the lifesize skeleton above my desk?! made by yours truly 😉 xo.
